I bought this for my wife to use in doing my sons books on Quick Books. (The former 4x5 aspect 15 inch was too small to work on and she needed the larger 4x5 aspect) She is in Hog Heaven! It is crisp sharp bright and fast. The other plus, I got the old one in tandum with my crt and doubled my real estate at no cost. Amazon is the best. I saved tax shipping and got a great monitor and most important, A Happy Wife.

Just got this monitor yesterday, and right out of the box it was wonderful. Easy to set up, adjust the brightness (they are all very bright) and contrast to suit me, can actually read the type on the internet, which was NOT possible with the 20" widescreen I had purchased. Didn't know how difficult it was to see type on a widescreen until I used one. You don't see that in the stores because they show most of the monitors with TV movies rather than showing you how tiny the type is on the internet. But this monitor has beautiful color, SHARP type, large screen, etc. I appreciated the other reviews I had read on this site about this monitor that told me how to adjust the screen--I don't understand why the manufacturers don't put simple instructions in the packages of any products any more. Love shopping with Amazon, received it very quickly with free shipping. If anyone is wondering if they should purchase this monitor rather than a widescreen, don't hesitate for a moment. From what I understand, these monitors aren't going to be available as much any more, so grab one while you can. We are thinking about getting another right away for our "old" computer. If you really need a widescreen for multi-tasking, do consider at least a 24" so you can read the type. Otherwise, get this one. You won't be disappointed.

Dead pixel smack dab in the middle of the screen. Hard to imagine how it got by quality control.
Will be returning this.

Return with Amazon was easy as always. Second monitor shipped had no dead pixels and no issues.

Wanted a 19" normal monitor, not wide screen. Fits the bill perfectly. Colors vibrant. Replaced a 19" Poly View that had been replaced once under warranty that just quit one day. Wanted a ViewSonic when I purchased the Poly View, but didn't want to give the $$ ViewSonic's were selling for at that time. Finally got one and hope it lasts for years.

This is one fantastic monitor. I was looking for an excellent flat panel LCD monitor that is not in wide format, but I had almost given up when I saw a positive customer review about this monitor and discovered that there were still a few left. I like everything about this monitor. It has renewed my interest in photography. All those old photos from vacations in special places are now rolling across my monitor on screen saver, and do they ever look great.
